Online UPS, offline UPS or inverter?
Online UPS is best for sensitive IT loads such as servers, network racks, CCTV control rooms and critical computers because it gives cleaner, continuous power. Offline UPS is suitable for smaller computer loads where brief transfer time is acceptable. Inverters are better for longer backup requirements such as lights, fans and general appliances.
Choosing only by price often creates repeated battery complaints, overload shutdowns and poor backup time. We size the load first, then recommend the right backup method.
What we plan
- Load calculation for IT and non-IT appliances
- Online UPS for servers, CCTV and network racks
- Offline UPS for computers and smaller office loads
- Inverter and battery planning for longer backup
